I almost threw this away. I got "experimental" and thought I'd ruined it. I decided to just go with it and see what happens. I'm "satisfied" with it. I haven't painted a rose like this ever -- so...
I decided to paint the ladybug in flight. There are always pieces of ladybugs chillin' on petals, so I went for ladybug in action.
Let me know what you think... Should I have tossed it?
Thank you so very much -- and admittedly, it IS a difficult medium. Very, very unforgiving. I gave it a shot because I saw some paintings my own mother once did, and they were amazing. I never forgot how much I loved the effects watercolour can have.
