Hey!! How have you been? It's been awhile since we last chatted! I saw your friend request on Facebook. I've been trying to figure all that out lol. I'm going to try and tackle more of it again tonight. I'm used to Myspace and that just seems so different.

Anyhow, what a beautiful piece! Your linework is so perfect! What type of pen do you use? Just gorgeous. I love the colors you used for the background too.

I've missed you!

Heyhey chicka! I'm so glad to see you back! I was really starting to wonder where you'd gone! I figure I know you enough to worry, but not enough to go calling all over your state to make sure you aren't in a hospital or something! ARGH! *grins* :glomp:

Thank you so much for the compliments! I've switched from microns to rapidograph pens. I found an Illustration set that's PERFECT on ebay for $60 -- but they sell for $150 in the stores. Seriously, check out ebay for some... just make sure you pay close attention to the sizes of the tips. The illustration set has the right lines for what we do. (I went to get a second pen in the smallest tip size for white accents, and the store wanted $40 for just ONE PEN... so definitely do the ebay thing!) Also, don't buy "used". People who don't care of their pens get them all screwed up and then try to sell them used. It's impossible to clean them out once they are totally blocked -- and a new tip/nib is the same price as the pen itself! They are permanent, use quality india ink -- and DON'T SMUDGE ONCE DRY!!! :D You can soak the art in water and you can't get rid of the inkwork. If you decide to buy a set, spend the extra $20 on a pen cleaning kit. (Rapidograph and the cleaning kits are by Koh-i-nor.)

Missed ya -- and I am so glad you're back! :D

I'm glad to be back! I've missed chatting with you. =) Aww I'm sorry I made you worry. I know I sort of disappeared. I was in a car accident almost a year ago now, broke my collar bone, etc... It took me awhile to recover from that, then I had to get another job to pay for the medical bills...but everything is better now and I'm back on track! And hopefully here to stay hehe.

Wow those pens sound awesome! They sound perfect for the type of lines we need. Thanks so much for the tips! =)

Very elegantly shaped, and I like the gentle wash of colors.
